CINEMA ALL’APERTO NOUR PRESENTA: ASMARINA 26 maggio 2016

Thursday 26 May will see the opening of the Nour Open Air Cinema, with a screening of the film Asmarina by Alan Maglio and Medhin Paolos.

The evening's guests will be Professor Edyta M. Łubińska and her students from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, who will give a short presentation on Krakow - The City of Culture.

ASMARINA:

Made by Alan Maglio and Medhin Paolos, in collaboration with Docucity, the film tells the story of the Eritrean/Ethiopian community present in Italy for at least half a century, socially and culturally integrated into the fabric of the city. Starting with the photographic documents that constitute the community's collective memory, the film collects the legacy of personal stories, investigating the nuances of identity, migration and people's aspirations.
