PROGRAMME OF THE EVENING
Presentation of Krakow - City of Culture
Screening of the film Asmarina
Made by Alan Maglio and Medhin Paolos, in collaboration with Docucity, the film tells the story of the Eritrean/Ethiopian community present in Italy for at least half a century, socially and culturally integrated into the fabric of the city. Starting with the photographic documents that constitute the community's collective memory, the film collects the legacy of personal stories, investigating the nuances of identity, migration and people's aspirations.
