L’Incontro, Italian for “the encounter”, brings together two photographers: Hilde Daem and Mau Chi. Their images emerge from different sensibilities — one grounded, the other elusive — yet meet in a shared search for how we perceive the world around us.

Hilde Daem's photography reveals the beauty in what often goes unnoticed, capturing the impermanence and subtlety of the everyday. Through her lens, ordinary moments are transformed, revealing a deeper, more distinct essence.

In contrast, Mau Chi’s work reflects a reality in constant flux, where what we see is always shifting, dissolving, and evolving. It invites a deeper engagement with what cannot be fully grasped, embracing the intangible and ever-changing.

Their works are interwoven throughout the rooms of the castle. There is no fixed route, only a rhythm of contrast and connection. At times, it feels like one artist answers the other. At other moments, they move side by side in silence.

Spazio Nour invites a slower gaze — an encounter not only between images, but also between inside and outside, between what is and what could be.

L’Incontro is a visual dialogue that unfolds at the pace of the space, and at the pace of the viewer.
