Spazio Nour is pleased to present 'Blu Oltremare. Abi Lajavardi', the second chapter of a pair of solo exhibitions divided between Milan and Tehran by the young Italian illustrator Elisa Vendramin. The exhibition presents a selection of Vendramin's artistic research: more than twelve works that dialogue freely within Bligny 42, developing a reflection on the idea of space and the multiple meanings it takes on. Vendramin's work, which introduces a significant convergence of form and content, is articulated as a narrative with delicate and elegant tones. The space, which is dissociated from its original connotation of a blank page to be filled, is an active element of the composition and co-protagonist of the image. On the one hand, with its studied balance of full and empty spaces, it gives weight to the image and directs its fluctuating movement, helping to determine its rhythm and morphology.
