Mauchi, born in Lucca in 1973, is a visual experimenter. He begins his photography journey very young through self-teaching. He often flanks photography with video production.

 

He practices aikido, a Japanese martial art, and is very fond of east-asian cultures. He lived in the Italian region of  Liguria and then in Prato, where he met Elisabetta Rizzuto. They today collaborate in the development of artistic projects.

 

Today he lives in Lucca and works between Italy and Switzerland.
