9 February 2018 from 19:30 to 22:30, Spazio Nour.
Spazio Nour invites you to the screening of Armenian director Sergei Parajanov's masterpiece, The Color of Pomegranates (1968).
The film recounts the life of the Armenian troubadour Sayat-Nova, who lived in the 18th century, through the surreal and engaging style that characterises Parajanov's production. The use of allegories, surrealist fantasies, dreamlike settings and colour contrasts will take you on a journey into Armenian imagery and its musical folklore.
The screening is open to all and a contribution of 2 Euros per participant is required. For the occasion, pomegranate karkadè will also be served and it will be possible to discuss any curiosities with the artist of Armenian origin Liana Ghuk Asyan, curator of the event.
