Spazio Nour is pleased to present Elisa Vendramin's solo exhibition "Abi Lajavardi. Blu Oltremare", curated by Carlotta Biffi. The exhibition will open on 22 April 2018 at 4pm at Sa'dabad Complex gallery, Tehran, and will be open until 1 May 2018.
The exhibition, which will introduce a selection of works by the young Italian artist, is the first unprecedented collaboration between an Italian exhibition space and an Iranian cultural institution - a collaboration supported and sponsored by the Italian Embassy in Tehran as part of the Italy, Culture, Mediterranean 2018 programme promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
In the evocative setting of the Saadabad Gallery, "Abi Lajavardi. Blu Oltremare" will lead you into a universe where fragments of images, put together with infinite care, are called upon to reinvent themselves as new figurations, new stories, new impressions. Elisa Vendramin's work, which combines the meticulous attention of the craftsman with the infinite possibilities of new technologies, will unfold along a path made up of joyful juxtapositions and images that chase each other from one room to another, freely inspired by Farīd ad-dīn's poem ʻAṭṭār "The Word of the Birds".
The exhibition is open every day from 23.04.2018 to 01.05.2018, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
