A large-scale earthquake struck Japan in March 2011.

The artist "Eriko Shiomi" collected and washed the mud-encrusted kimonos left behind by the tsunami and gave them new life by turning them into stage costumes. The leftover pieces of fabric were made into 50x50 cm patchwork. We are now also presenting this workshop in Milan. We ask you to bring a basic 50x50 cm. fabric, on which, following your fantasy, we will sew, glue and write using both additional materials that you can bring and, above all, adding the kimono fabric that will be provided.

Your creations will be taken to Japan to make the curtain for the new concert hall in Ishimaki.

after the Workshop from 20.00 to 21.00 there will be a small musical intervention with Keiichi Hashizume (clarinet) and Akiko Kozato ( singing )
